Our firm practices heavily in the defense of personal injury and complex injury claims. While we often practice in the area of insurance defense law, a large number of the claims involve personal injury lawsuits filed by plaintiffs against a variety of types of defendants. Our firm has defended individuals, businesses, condominium associations, homeowners’ associations, non-for-profits and corporate boards who have been sued. Many lawsuits may involve personal injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents, dog-bites or even slip and falls on property owned by businesses or individuals. Our firm investigates both liability and damages issues in the claims and evaluates the case for the value of any potential resolution through alternative dispute resolutions, such as traditional negotiations, mediations or arbitrations. Even if other resolution methods fail, our law firm is often ready to defend a case at trial for personal injury lawsuits before the judge and jury, successfully resolving cases through litigation.
